PCC hears concerns from Doncaster residents ahead of 2022 policing budget

Dr Alan Billings was out in the community last week, listening to the concerns of residents, ahead of agreeing the policing priorities and budget for the next financial year.

On a visit to Doncaster, Dr Billings spoke with local councillors and families affected by anti-social behaviour in rural areas.

Following the visit, Dr Billings said: “It’s always good to get out and about and remind myself of the realities on the ground. What are the crimes and acts of anti-social behaviour that most concern people, and have we got the police response right, so far as resources allow?

“I was joined on this visit by the local inspector, sergeant and a police constable from the neighbourhood team, who highlighted the importance of reporting crime, no matter how trivial it may seem, as it helps to paint the bigger picture.”
