All Police and Crime Commissioner functions are now the responsibility of the Mayor of South Yorkshire.

£112,000 AWARDED FROM COMMUNITY GRANT SCHEME

Since June 2017 the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Dr Alan Billings has awarded £112,000 to community groups and non-profit organisations in South Yorkshire from his community grant scheme.

SOUTH YORKSHIRE TO GET £1.6 MILLION FUNDING FOR VIOLENCE REDUCTION UNIT

South Yorkshire PCC has been awarded £1.6 million of funding to set up a violence reduction unit, the Policing Minister has announced today (Monday 12 August).

FUNDING AWARDED FROM THE HOME OFFICE EARLY INTERVENTION FUND

South Yorkshire is to receive £1,245,680 from the Home Office Early Intervention Fund for two projects to target young people at risk of becoming involved in crime.
