Support Services for Victims
The Police and Crime Commissioner helps fund a number of services to help victims cope and recover from crime. Below you can find a number of those organisations that can help you to cope with and recover from crime:
Brake
Brake works to stop road deaths and injuries by campaigning for safer roads; supports people bereaved or injured in road crashes; and raises public awareness for sustainable transport.
Domestic Abuse
The Police and Crime Commissioner provides funding to each Local Authority in South Yorkshire to commission/deliver and provide support for victims and survivors of Domestic Abuse. For information about services available in your area please click here.
Inspire To Change
Inspire to Change is a programme for men and women who have been abusive, controlling or violent towards their partner.
Level Up Programme
Service to support young people aged between 11 and 15 who are showing signs of abusive behaviours.
Online Child Abuse and Exploitation
The National Crime Agency's CEOP Education team aim to help protect children and young people from online child sexual abuse.
Restorative Justice
Restorative Justice provides victims of crime and the offender responsible to communicate with the support of a trained practitioner.
Sexual Violence
