POLICE OFFICER NUMBERS INCREASED
South Yorkshire Police is set to grow by 220 police officers between now and 2024. 55 have already been planned in this year’s budget as a result of the precept increase and an additional 13 are also planned for this financial year.

The South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner has increased the council tax precept for policing to the maximum permitted by the Government.
