Dr Alan Billings was a visitor to the Makery in Barugh Green, Barnsley on Monday, 12 March as he went along to hear about how they are helping pupils from Greenacre Academy.

THE RUCKSACK PROJECT AWARDED BARNSLEY CHRONICLE GRANT FUNDING

On Thursday, 1 February, Dr Alan Billings met with Project Manager Adie Flute from the Rucksack Project to hear how £600 grant funding has helped homeless people in Barnsley.

£112,000 AWARDED FROM COMMUNITY GRANT SCHEME

Since June 2017 the South Yorkshire Police and Crime Commissioner, Dr Alan Billings has awarded £112,000 to community groups and non-profit organisations in South Yorkshire from his community grant scheme.
